General Lineup Rules & Restrictions

As a general rule for all contests, a lineup must include picks from two or more teams and cannot include the same player more than once.

Additional Lineup Restrictions per Sport

There are additional rules for valid lineups based on the sport. These include the following.

• Baseball: You cannot have the starting pitcher and opposing hitters in the same Lineup.

• Hockey: You cannot have a goalie with possible goal scorers in the same lineup.

Lineup Minimums and Limits

Our minimum entry fee is $5. Our maximum entry fee allowed per lineup depends on pick quantity and player level. If a user attemps to wager beyond their allowed limits for a unique lineup, an error message will be presented that informs the user they are wagering beyond their set allowed wager maximum for that lineup. Any manipulation of this set max wager for the unique lineup will result in the lineup submission being void. This is to ensure responsible gambling and safe play. Arena reserves the right to lower or increase limits at our discretion.

Player Limits and Regulations

The max risk on one player at the same time is $500. The max risk cap applies to a player’s total exposure - calculated as the sum of all wagers involving that player - not to each individual prop. Users can include different or the same props for the same player across different lineups, but the sum of the wagers that include the player must be ≤ $500. For example: If a user submits $250 on Lineup #1 that includes Anthony Edwards, and attempts to submit $300 on Lineup #2 that also includes Anthony Edwards, Lineup #2 will be disallowed or refunded because it exceeds the max player risk of $500. Users can spread that $500 maximum among multiple entries, but cannot wager past this player max risk. Arena reserves the right to lower or increase limits at our discretion.

Maximum Entries

There is a limit to the dollar amount that a user can play on a single player's projections. Additionally there is a limit to the dollar amount that a user can play on a single entry. These limits are variable depending on the sport and are subject to change.
